I have recently found that I needed a refresher in praying for my children.
I was getting all caught up in what I saw instead of standing on what God said. So the Holy Spirit gently spoke to me last night while I was venting at my husband to stop speaking trash about my kids and reminded me to speak life.
So I repented quickly and got to work in the Word.
Just like Jesus did when the devil came against Him, we use the Word as our sword. And as a slap back at the enemy it is my great pleasure to help arm you all as well! 🙂
While I pray for mine daily, sometimes we are praying for such specifics (ie protection) that we lose track of some of the basics.
I have found that prayer for your children doesn’t lessen as they grow, it increases.
It is important that no matter what you see, even if they are acting like heathens from hell, you continue to pray the Word over them and speak about them from the Word only. Do not be moved by what you see.
I recommend you look up each of these scriptures, get them in your eyes, speak them out loud to get them in your ears.
So while I get a refresher, I am sharing it with you as well. I’m gathering from many sources that I’ve collected over the years and putting it all in one place for myself. (and you)
Scriptural tools for successful intercession:
Luke 10:19 – Jesus said: “Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.”
NOTE – Get a hold of this: you have been given delegated authority over the devil and his demons. They are under your feet. So you have the God-given right to command them to take their hands off of your children. In fact Verse 20 reveals to us that these spirits are subject to us! Use your authority!!!
Matthew 18:18 – Jesus said: “Assuredly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.”
NOTE – Again, you can see how much authority has been given to the believer. As the establishing witness of the Word of God, the Lord wants us to begin to forbid some things with His delegated authority. Put your foot down and forbid the enemy to ravage your children. “Devil I bind (forbid) the spirit of addiction, I bind the spirit of lust, I bind the spirit of confusion etc. in Jesus’ Name!”
2 Corinthians 4:3-4 – “But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, whose minds the god of this age (the devil) has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them.”
NOTE – See how the devil has placed blinders on them causing the deception. Take your authority and command the devil to take the blinders off of your children so that the light of the gospel can and will shine on them.
Mark 11:23-24 – “For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.”
NOTE – Don’t just speak to God about the mountain, Jesus said here that YOU must “speak” TO the mountain. A mountain represents an obstacle that is in your way, or in this case in your children’s way. Call out what ever the problem is in your children’s life and command for it to be removed. “Spirit of addiction, spirit of rebellion, spirit of lust, spirit of homosexuality – I command you to leave my child in the Name of Jesus Christ – NOW!”
Matthew 9:37-38 – “Then He (Jesus) said to His disciples, “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.”
NOTE – Jesus said for us to “ask” the Father (Lord of the harvest) to send out laborers. So take Jesus at His Word and ask the Lord to send someone to your loved one that they will respect and listen to that will be able to speak the Word to them in love. This is so very important. I guarantee that you will be amazed at the Christian laborers that your loved one will tell you about one day that God had sent to minister to them.
Ezekiel 36:26-29 – “I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will keep My judgments and do them. Then you shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; you shall be My people, and I will be your God. I will deliver you from all your uncleanness.”
NOTE – This is the will of God to take out hardness of heart and replace it with a soft heart of loving understanding and surrender. So ask Him to take out the hard heart and give your loved one a heart of flesh and deliver them from all uncleanness.
Remember James 4:2 tells us that we have not because we ask not. There is no better way to receive from God than when we come to Him on the basis of His Word.
The Promises of God Regarding Our Children
These are promises that you can lay claim to personally as you proclaim them in prayer or as faith declarations over your children. Remember, the Bible tells us in James 5:16 that the prayers of a righteous man or woman avails much or as the Amplified version says: The earnest (heartfelt, continued) prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available [dynamic in its working]. Know this, you are a righteous person if you have made Jesus the Lord of your life.
Acts 16:31 “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved (salvation, deliverance and healing), you and your household (this includes your children).”
Psalm 115:14 “May the LORD give you increase more and more, you and your children.”
Psalm 112:1-2 “Blessed is the man who fears the LORD, who delights greatly in His commandments. His descendants will be mighty on earth; the generation of the upright will be blessed.”
NOTE – Keep yourself sensitive to the things of the Lord and His ways and the blessing will flow to your children.
Proverbs 14:11 “The house of the wicked will be overthrown, but the tent (dwelling place, household) of the upright will flourish.”
NOTE – As you continue to serve the Lord and walk in His ways, begin to speak out daily, “According to the Word of God, I say my household will flourish in Jesus’ Name!”
Proverbs 20:7 “The righteous man walks in his integrity; His children are blessed after him.”
NOTE – Here again we see that the blessing flows to the children of those who walk in the ways of the Lord. So if you haven’t been, start today!
Isaiah 49:25 “For I will contend with him who contends with you, And I will save (defend, preserve, rescue, deliver) your children.”
Proverbs 11:21 “Though they join forces, the wicked will not go unpunished; But the posterity (children, descendants) of the righteous will be delivered ( rescued, released, escape).”
NOTE – Parents, this is a powerful promise to you if your child is in bondage to drug addiction, alcohol, pornography etc. The Lord is wanting to give you hope, they will be delivered as you continue to mix your faith with the Word of God in prayer! If you are born-again, then you are the righteous, that is your God-given inherited position in Christ. See 2 Corinthians 5:21. So there is no doubt that this Scripture is for you!
Jeremiah 31:16-17 “Thus says the LORD: Refrain your voice from weeping, and your eyes from tears; for your work (raising of your children, prayer) shall be rewarded, says the LORD, and they (your children) shall come back from the land of the enemy. There is hope (something you can expect) in your future, says the LORD, that your children shall come back to their own border (place of peace and safety and well-being).”
NOTE – Don’t place your focus on how bad it may be now, instead look to the promise of the Word and the power of the Lord to bring it about and begin to rejoice – their coming back!!!
Proverbs 22:6 “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.”
NOTE – They may stray from time to time, but eventually they will return to what they know is right. Godly parenting is giving God substance to work with in their latter life.
Psalm 25:12-13 “Who is the man that fears the LORD? Him shall He teach in the way He chooses. He himself shall dwell in prosperity (at ease, cheerful, free from worry) and his descendants shall inherit the earth (blessings).”
NOTE – As you take time with the Lord, He will teach you His ways and you will live at ease free from worry knowing that the Lord will take care of and bring about the blessing of salvation to your children.
Isaiah 61:8-9 “For I, the LORD, love justice; I will direct their work in truth, And will make with them an everlasting covenant. Their descendants shall be known among the Gentiles, And their offspring among the people. All who see them shall acknowledge them, that they are the posterity whom the LORD has blessed.”
Psalm 128:3 “Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine in the very heart of your house, your children like olive plants (symbol of anointing) all around your table.”
NOTE – Begin to see your children in the light of the Word that you are believing for them. In your prayer time begin to call them blessed, begin to see them in your mind’s eye as anointed by God, anointed to carry out the call of God on their lives and live as a blessing unto the Lord and all they come in contact with.
Isaiah 54:13 “And all your children shall be taught of the LORD; and great shall be the peace of your children. (And their undisturbed composure) Amplified Version
NOTE – Begin to call your children peaceful, composed, steady, and constant in what is right in Jesus’ Name!
Psalm 36:7-9 “How precious is Your loving kindness (covenant remembrance, love & favor), O God! Therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of Your wings. They are abundantly satisfied with the fullness (fatness, abundance) of Your house, and You give them drink from the river of Your pleasures. For with You is the fountain (outflow, spring) of life; In Your light we see light.”
NOTE – This verse is so full of revelation and power! Look at the heart of God toward us, nothing but goodness and blessing. I love the phrase, You give them drink from the river of Your pleasures. What is interesting is the Hebrew word for pleasures here is the word “Eden,” The same word as the garden of Eden – a paradise, perfection. That’s right, He wants to satisfy His children with His very best – holding nothing back. Take a look at Luke 12:32 which confirms the Father’s will for His children: “Do not fear, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.” So know that He’s holding nothing back, and will provide His very best in bringing your children back to Him and keep them safe, pouring His life into them. Rejoice – this is the will of God!
Isaiah 44:3-5 “For I will pour water on him who is thirsty, and floods on the dry ground; I will pour My Spirit on your descendants, and My blessing on your offspring; They will spring up among the grass like willows by the watercourses.’ One will say, ‘I am the LORD’s’; another will call himself by the name of Jacob; another will write with his hand, ‘The LORD’s,’ and name himself by the name of Israel (Prince having favor with God).”
NOTE – Wow! I love this verse of Scripture. Are you weary believing for your children, do you feel dry in your spirit? The Lord wants to bring refreshing to you – right now lift your hands to Him and take a moment and allow Him to bring the refreshing that He has promised to you. Know that this is His desire to pour out His Spirit on your children – believe it and receive it now!
Psalm 102:28 “The children of Your servants will continue, and their descendants will be established before You.”
NOTE – Established in righteousness!
Deuteronomy 7:13 “And He will love you and bless you and multiply you; He will also bless the fruit of your womb.”
NOTE – The word “bless” if you do a word study, literally means empowered to succeed.
Isaiah 29:22-24 “Therefore thus says the LORD, who redeemed Abraham, concerning the house of Jacob: “Jacob shall not now be ashamed, nor shall his face now grow pale; but when he sees his children, the work of My hands, in his midst, they will hallow My name, and hallow the Holy One of Jacob, and fear the God of Israel. These also who erred in spirit will come to understanding, and those who complained will learn doctrine.”
NOTE – Begin to see your children in your mind’s eye worshiping and praising the Lord. Begin to thank the Lord for correcting your children and bringing them into the blessing.
Psalm 138:8 “The LORD will perfect that which concerns me (my children);Your mercy, O LORD, endures forever; do not forsake the works of Your hands.”
Deuteronomy 30:19-20 “I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live; (be whole, be nourished up) that you may love the LORD your God, that you may obey His voice, and that you may cling to Him, for He is your life and the length of your days; and that you may dwell in the land which the LORD swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to give them.”
Psalm 127:3 “Behold, children are a heritage (inheritance) from the LORD.”
NOTE – Your children do not belong to the devil, as this Scripture clearly states, they are an inheritance from the Lord. So command the devil to take his hands off and begin to proclaim that they belong to the Lord!
Isaiah 59:21 “As for Me,” says the LORD, “this is My covenant with them: [the people of God] My Spirit who is upon you, and My words which I have put in your mouth, shall not depart from your mouth, nor from the mouth of your descendants, nor from the mouth of your descendants’ descendants,” says the LORD, “from this time and forevermore.”
NOTE – Accept this as a promise, and begin to see in your mind’s eye, your children and your entire family line serving the Lord and proclaiming the Word of God. Instead of fear or dread because of what might be happening in the natural, begin to look beyond to the eternal, and begin to praise Him for bringing this promise to pass – after all, it is a covenant!!! Remember, it takes just as much energy to worry as it does to believe God. So aim it in the direction that will do the most good – worry is always unproductive and operates in the realm of unbelief.
Deuteronomy 30:6 “And the Lord your God will circumcise your heart and the heart of your descendants, to love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul, that you may live.
NOTE – Because of your dedication and walk with the Lord, because of the covenant in which you have entered into with Him, His favor and grace goes out to your children and He will draw them in.
Once you have built up your faith with all this, then the basic premise of praying for your children is two-fold.
1: Find the scripture that applies.
2: Personalize it as a prayer for your child or children.
Here are some brief examples:
Acts 19:20………I thank you Father that Your Word prevails over our children.
Isa 54:13………..That they are taught of the Lord and continue to be
Prov 13:1………. the fruit of godly instruction and correction.
Isa 54:13………..Great is their peace and undisturbed composure.
Prov 2:6………… Father, give us counsel and wisdom in bringing up our children.
1Pet 1:14………. I say they are obedient, not conforming to the things of the flesh,
1Pet 1:15………. but holy, in all conduct.
1Pet 2:2……….. desiring the pure milk of the Word that they may grow thereby.
Jas 1:19…………That they are swift to hear, slow to speak, and slow to wrath.
Heb 13:5………. Their conduct is without covetousness,
Heb 13:5………. and they are content with what they have.
Heb 13:16……… They do not forget to do what is right and to share.
2Pet 3:18………. I pray that they grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord,
1Thes 4:1……… and abound more and more in how they should walk and please You.
1Pet 5:5……….. That they submit to their elders, and to one another,
1Pet 5:5……….. being clothed with humility.
1Pet 5:7……….. That they cast their cares upon You, Father, for You care for them.
Jas 1:22…………I thank You that they are doers of the Word, and not hearers only,
Ph’m 1:6………..effectively sharing their faith.
2Tim 1:7 ……….not having a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind.
2Tim 1:9………..Father, You have saved them and called them with a holy calling,
2Tim 1:9 ……….not according to works, but according to Your own purpose.
2Tim 4:18………Deliver them from every evil work and preserve them.
John 10:5 ……..They will by no means follow strangers, not knowing their voices.
2Tim2:22 ………They abide with others who call on the Lord out of a pure heart,
Jas 3:10 ……….and cursing comes not out of their mouth.
1Jn 5:18 ……….Because Jesus keeps them safe, the wicked one does not touch them
Ps 91:11……….Give Your angels special charge to accompany, defend, preserve
Ps 4:8………….and provide safety for them, day and night.
1Jn 2:5 ………..Because they keep Your Word, Your love is being perfected in them.
1Jn 2:15 ………They do not love the world or the things in the world,
3Jn 1:11……….and they do not imitate what is evil, but what is good.
1Jn 1:7 ………..They walk in the light as You are in the Light,
Jas 4:8 ………..cleansing their hands and purifying their hearts,
2Tim 2:22 …….They follow after righteousness, faith, love, and peace.
Heb 13:18……..They have a good conscience and desire to live honorably,
Prov 3:4 ……….having favor and high esteem with God and man.
Here are some examples of praying the whole scripture out:
Ephesians 1:17-19 that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power
So we can pray it personalized this way:
Lord, give our children the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, and the knowledge of You. That the eyes of their hearts be enlightened that they will know the hope to which you have called them, the riches of Your glorious inheritance in the saints and His Incomparably great power for us who believe.
Of course you can personalize it my child, or put in the child’s name etc.
Here are some more:
Ephesians 3: 17-19 These children are rooted and established in love; we pray that they may have power with all the saints to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ towards them, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge, that they may be filled to the measure of the fullness of God.
Ephesians 5:1 and 21 Our children will be imitators of God and live a life of love.
They will submit to others out of reverence to Christ.
Ephesians 6:1,2 Our children will obey their parents in the Lord.
They will honor their father and mother so that it may go well with them and that they may enjoy long life on earth.
1 Timothy 4:12 No one will look down on our children because they are young, but they set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in faith and in purity.
Psalm 103:2-5 Thank you Lord that our children won’t forget His benefits. You forgive all their sins and heal all their diseases.
You redeem their lives from the pit, and crown them with love and compassion.
You satisfy their souls with good things so that their youth is renewed like the eagles.
Psalm 1:1-3 Our children do not walk in the counsel of the ungodly or stand in the path of sinners or sit in the
seat of scoffers.
But their delight is in the law of the Lord and on His law they meditate day and night.
They are like the trees planted by the rivers of water, which yield their fruit in season and whose leaf will not whither, and whatever they do prospers.
Psalm 119:18 Our children seek You with all their hearts; they will not stray from Your commands; they have hidden Your word in their hearts that they may not sin against you.
Psalm 91:9-16 Our children have made the Most High their dwelling place. No harm will befall them; no disaster will come near their tents. For He will give His angles charge over them to guard them in all their ways. They will carry them so that our children do not dash their foot against a stone. They will tread upon the lion and the cobra; they will trample them underfoot. Because our children love You, You will deliver them, You will set them on high. They will call upon You and You will answer them, You will be with them in trouble, You will deliver them and honor them and with long life You will satisfy them and show them Your salvation.
Acts 1:8, 2:38 Our children will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. They will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon them.
Joel 2:28 Thank you Lord that it will come to pass that You will pour out Your Spirit on our children; our sons and daughters shall prophesy, dream dreams, and see visions.
1John 4:4 Greater is He that is in our children the he that is in the world.
Isaiah 24:13.14 and 17 All our children shall be taught by the Lord and great will be their peace, their health, safety, protection and prosperity. In righteousness they will be established. Tyranny will be far from them; they will have nothing to fear. Terror will be far removed; it will not come near them. No weapon formed against them will prosper.
Mark 4:20 The hearts of our children are like good soil, they hear the word, accept it and produce a crop….100 times that which was sown.
2 Timothy 2:22 Our children flee the evil desires of their youth and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.
You will find what ones you feel are what you should be praying for your child or children and in the format that the Spirit teaches you to use.
Print out this list and when it seems like your child maybe making bad choices, get a refresher course and go to the throne of the Most High God boldly and fear not, believe only!! As the Holy Spirit shows you things add your own notes!!

Thank you for the scriptures. I have a child that has gone a stray. I know that God has his arms of protection around him. I believe God’s word and the promises that God made concerning my children. It is hard to speak over them those promises when I am looking at what is taking place now. Please pray with me and for me. I refuse to bend and God will not let this break me.

Well, my story, like so many others does not really vary. I am the father of two girls that live with their mother in california and soon with with the ex brother in-law. The ex brother in-law is trying to take them away from me and move to Italy. I have declined to let them go, problem is I have not been in their lives for 7 years, of course, yes I have been trying to talk to them, write them letters and send them birthday cards, but their mother is being very diffucult. My new wife, at this time of a year, has been working with me to try and get them to us. We are trying to get an attorney but money is really tight. We have been praying, but as I write this I realize not enough. I feel like my heart is being ripped out of my chest, I feel like, not only did I physically abandone my girls but also mentally, spiritually. It tares at me every day, hurts like no other pain I’ve experienced in life, discouragement plays its part from time to time. I will not, and I MEAN ” WILL NOT “, stop trusting and knowing by faith that God will make the way, but I do know that His will is to be done, no matter what the outcome is.

The enemy has really fought us on this one. I don’t know if my parents pray but I am taking it upon my self to intercede for my brother. Dear Kath, God’s timing is Perfect! I asked Him today to show me how to pray – effectively/Victoriously – for my kids, and, WOW…your Labor of Love was right here! And has been here since at least two years ago, according to the date on the first comment I read.
While I read your gift of this writing out loud, me and Jesus had a good time coming up with a few more people I’m claiming as ‘My Kids’…even I was surprised at some of them we came up with, but as I said their names in Prayer, my heart truly went tender toward them with Love from Jesus. I gave birth to five Beautiful People (my kiddos) – the ones I came searching for Scriptural Promises to proclaim over their lives, but my ‘family’ is growing bigger since just this afternoon! 😉

I have a son who is a heroin addict, among other things. At age 61, I am raising his 3-year old daughter because both he and my granddaughter’s mother are addicts. My son will turn 30 in a few days, and he has been on one form of drug or another for more than half of his life. He has not worked in 12 years, and his father supports him and his habit. After seeing War Room, I realized that I needed to step up my game. I put in a search that simply said “Scriptures to pray for your child who is a drug addict” and your blog was the first thing I looked at. I realized I did not have to go any further! I am positive God led me here, and I thank you SO much for taking the time to share such in-depth scriptures and notes. It is invaluable. I can’t wait to get into my War Room and begin!!!

Like others…I have been burdened with fear, anxiety, and concern regarding my middle school child. Seeing changes in him as he grows and develops. Seeing him become more independent. Desiring for him to thirst for the things of God….As I cried out to the Lord for wisdom, He led me to this site…

Thank you for these wonderful Words of God. My grandaughter Hayley needs prayer for drug addiction. She is in a bad way & lives with me (grandmother). There is so much darkness lies & more lies . So I ask for prayer for this lost child, who is so hooked into Satan’s lies.

Special thanks to your blessing of all the children of God reading your works . So many hurting family members get lost in their way due to family members addictions. My son was in ICU with drug overdose at the age 20. God’s angels came and protected my child in those days.He went to a rehab. After 1 month of getting out he got into heroin. I feel the present of the holy spirit but get lost at times for wisdom. I know from the my whole ❤ your works has encouraged many hurting souls and have given them peace,hope and encouragement. I know God has blessed you and your family in a mighty way and pray for many more.

I’m very happy that I found this article while searching not for “scriptures to stand on for when your child is using drugs”
My daughter has been a a pot head daily for over a year. She claims she is my adductrd but I know she’s deceived. So now it’s time for mommy to go into spiritual warfare now!
Since I have trouble sleeping and the devil wants to keep me up, I will make that time most productive!

My is Cindy I am a believer in Christ. My daughter Jolyssa has fallen into a lesbian relationship.. She is only 17. This relationship are affected our household, her education cuz she did not graduate, she ran away fell into drugs and alcohol and just hated me. Please pray for her and that me and my children will be restored back into Gods hands.

Thank you!! This teaching was right on time!# i know my father God told you to post this teaching!! Thank you!! My son aric has to go to court please pray for God favor for him!! He was driving drunk and when the police stop him the officier decide to put a felony charge on him so he charge my son with agggrvated assault on a police offcier!! He said my son tried to hit him with his car!! This is not true!! This is an evil lie from satan!! there was no property damage !!and not so much as a scratch on the police offcier!! i know this is just satan trying to destroy me and my son!! I am a interssesor therefor i have to do much spirirtual warfare !!satan is angry because i have destroy much of his plans to harm peoples!! My life is redeem from the curse!! and part of the curse is (sons and daughter being lead into captivaty!! But jesus has redeem me from the curse and no state! No court!! No devil is gonna imprison my son like some animal!! Satan has also brought the spirit of drugs and alhchol into my son life!! He trying to shame me!! but i fight back!! I fight back With the word of God!! His power is enough!! Thank you for your help!! Please agree with me!! Jesus is our attorney!! God is our judge!! I will text you with the praise report!! Satan has pick the wrong son to mess with!! my son is the son of the righteous!! Please agree with me for i know that more orayers going up mean more power coming down!! For thebible said one puts a thousand to flight!!! Thank you so much for these scriptures. I have 2 children walking away from the Lord and would appreciate any agreement in prayer for their salvation. Their father died 12 years ago and it is much harder keeping on track as a single mom trying to run a business. Wayne is now 25 and is struggling to believe in God at all and Julia is now 18 and wants to do her own thing and is now smoking etc and this is weighing so heavy on my heart. I have been praying but am so grateful for more help and encouragement. Thank you!!

Thank you for putting the time and effort into this. I was sobbing the other night as my son who is two states away is a true prodigal. Although my study group and I have been doing intercessory prayer for him and others, this makes it so personal. I love your notes after each. As others have replied, it came at one of my weakest moments in questioning God and I was searching for scripture and your page was there. As always, God’s timing is perfect! Thank you for this. Father God, I ask you to give to Scott the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of You! That you would light up the eyes of his understanding (Eph 1:17+18). And I thank you that Your word says that if we train up a child in the way they should go, they won’t depart from it when they get older (Pro 22:6). Thank You, for working in Scott and bringing him back to You. In Jesus’s name–amen!
