Daily Hope – Wednesday – Week 32

Daily Hope

Wednesday – Week 32

Daily Meditation:  Exodus 23:25

“So you shall serve the Lord your God, and He will bless your bread and your water. And I will take sickness away from the midst of you.

– One of the scriptural meanings of the word meditate is “to murmur”, to speak the Word to yourself only. As often as you think of it today, preach it to your mind, preach it to your soul, preach it to your Spirit.  It is amazing how a scripture that doesn’t seem to apply to me that morning, suddenly touches so many areas of my life as I meditate on it during the day.

Daily Reading:   2 Kings 17; 2 Chronicles 28; Ephesians 3; Psalm 46

– Each week contains only five readings, allowing you to miss a day, or catch up. You can read both the Old and New Testament assignments for each day and complete the entire Bible in one year. Or, read the New Testament readings for each day and finish the New Testament in a year.
The full schedule can be found HERE.

Hope Notes – Shavuot-Pentecost May 14, 2018

The biblical festival of Shavuot (Festival of Weeks), you may know it as Pentecost, starts this coming Saturday evening, May 19, and goes until the evening of  Monday, May 21, 2019.

It is the day God gave His people the Torah through Moses and it is the same day God gave his Spirit to His people through Jesus/Yeshua. It is very much a festival believers should know about.

I believe the 7 biblical festivals are prophetic and teach us much about the first and second coming of Messiah.

So here are a few links to learn and study a bit more about one of them, Shavuot.
Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal more about it to you as you study the scriptures.

What is Shavuot – Pentecost?

Why Shavuot Matters
