Hope Notes – July 7, 2011 – Patience

I was listening to some teaching today and heard an amazing definition for patience so I wanted to share.

Patience means not changing. It doesn’t mean putting up with something. It doesn’t mean the same as sitting as a red light and being patient.

Patience means that no matter what is going on you will stay the same based on the Word you are believing.
You’ve got your promise that you found in the Word of God and you are not changing, you are going to stay the same no matter what! You will keep trusting, you will keep believing, you will keep your confession lined up with the Word.
That’s patience at work.

Now read this scripture in James about patience and meditate on it.

James 1:2-4 My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials,
3 knowing that the testing of your faith produces (wortheth in kjv, employs) patience.
4 But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.

So keep on!! Victory is yours!

Be blessed!
