Dear Pray-ers,

I have been an active part of this group for several years, because I believe in United Corporate Prayer for an Awakening to God in America. Please read this from “Cry Out America” and see how you can be a part of Crying Out to God together on the tenth anniversary of September 11, 2001.

And remember our verse that we pray to keep America safe from covert evil plans.

Hebrews 4:13, “Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in His sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of Him with whom we have to do.”

A special message from The Awakening America Alliance:

The Awakening America Alliance was established several years ago under the direction of Billy Wilson, Executive Director of the International Center for Spiritual Renewal. The purpose of the Alliance is to provide a broad umbrella under which the body of Christ in America can unite together in seeking a contemporary spiritual awakening.

The heart of Awakening America is focused on prayer on 9/11 for an awakening, for repentance, and for spiritual renewal in America. This focus has birthed “Cry Out America.” “Cry Out America’s” goal is a public gathering led by a county coordinator on 9/11 focused on prayer for America. This year since 9/11 falls on Sunday, we have also targeted churches and ask that they sign up on our website stating that they will have a time of special prayer for a Christ awakening in America during their Sunday morning worship service.

We need your help! Even though we have thousands of churches and county coordinators combined, we need county coordinators and churches to sign up to lead a time of special prayer for America on 9/11/11. We need your county and every church in your county crying out for America. We realize it is late for county coordinators to be signing up, but all we are asking you to do is to gather people to pray at a public venue such as your county courthouse, city hall, etc. during the afternoon of Sunday, 9/11/11.

If you can assist us, please go to our website and click on Sign Up/County to serve as a county coordinator. If your county already has a coordinator, please contact them and offer to work with them. Also, please ask churches to go to our website and click on Sign Up/Church and register their church stating they will be praying for a Christ awakening during their morning service on 9/11/11.

Our goal is to have prayer in all 3,143 counties in the United States. This year is the ten-year anniversary of 9/11/01 and is an opportune time to call the nation’s attention back to God. With all the financial issues and the catastrophic storms, earthquakes, etc. we fill we can reach out to Americans in a special way this year.
