Study points:

Monday

• Zechariah 3:8 – Hear, O Joshua, the high priest,  You and your companions who sit before you, For they are a wondrous sign; For behold, I am bringing forth My Servant the BRANCH.

• John 6:12 –  So when they were filled, He said to His disciples, “Gather up the fragments that remain, so that nothing is lost.”

• John 6:27 – Do not labor for the food which perishes, but for the food which endures to everlasting life, which the Son of Man will give you, because God the Father has set His seal on Him.

• John 6:37 –  All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will by no means cast out.

• John 6:68-69 –  But Simon Peter answered Him, “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life. ⁶⁹ Also we have come to believe and know that You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”

Tuesday

• Zechariah 6: 12-13 – Then speak to him, saying, ‘Thus says the Lord of hosts, saying: ‘Behold, the Man whose name is the BRANCH!  From His place He shall branch out,  And He shall build the temple of the Lord; ¹³ Yes, He shall build the temple of the Lord. He shall bear the glory, And shall sit and rule on His throne; So He shall be a priest on His throne,  And the counsel of peace shall be between them both.'”

• Zechariah 7:11 – But they refused to heed, shrugged their shoulders, and stopped their ears so that they could not hear.

• John 7:24 – Do not judge according to appearance, but judge with righteous judgment.

Wednesday

• Zechariah 9:9 – Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion! Shout, O daughter of Jerusalem! Behold, your King is coming to you; He is just and having salvation, Lowly and riding on a donkey, A colt, the foal of a donkey.

• John 8:12 – Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.”

• John 8:34-36 – Jesus answered them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, whoever commits sin is a slave of sin. ³⁵ And a slave does not abide in the house forever, but a son abides forever. ³⁶ Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.”

• Psalm 147:2-3 – The Lord builds up Jerusalem; He gathers together the outcasts of Israel. ³ He heals the brokenhearted And binds up their wounds.

Thursday

• Zechariah 12:10 –  And I will pour on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem the Spirit of grace and supplication; then they will look on Me whom they pierced. Yes, they will mourn for Him as one mourns for his only son, and grieve for Him as one grieves for a firstborn.

• John 9:31-33 – Now we know that God does not hear sinners; but if anyone is a worshiper of God and does His will, He hears him. ³² Since the world began it has been unheard of that anyone opened the eyes of one who was born blind. ³³ If this Man were not from God, He could do nothing.

Friday

• Ezra 6:19-22 – And the descendants of the captivity kept the Passover on the fourteenth day of the first month. ²⁰ For the priests and the Levites had purified themselves; all of them were ritually clean. And they slaughtered the Passover lambs for all the descendants of the captivity, for their brethren the priests, and for themselves. ²¹ Then the children of Israel who had returned from the captivity ate together with all who had separated themselves from the filth of the nations of the land in order to seek the Lord God of Israel. ²² And they kept the Feast of Unleavened Bread seven days with joy; for the Lord made them joyful, and turned the heart of the king of Assyria toward them, to strengthen their hands in the work of the house of God, the God of Israel.

• John 10:5  ^– Yet they will by no means follow a stranger, but will flee from him, for they do not know the voice of strangers.

• John 10:17-18 – Therefore My Father loves Me, because I lay down My life that I may take it again. ¹⁸ No one takes it from Me, but I lay it down of Myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This command I have received from My Father.

• John 10:22 – Now it was the Feast of Dedication in Jerusalem, and it was winter.

• Feast of Dedication is Hanukkah.

• John 10:29 – My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father’s hand.

• Psalm 138:8 – The Lord will perfect that which concerns me; Your mercy, O Lord, endures forever; Do not forsake the works of Your hands.
