Daily Hope – Tuesday – Week 37

Daily Hope

Tuesday – Week 37

Daily Meditation:  James 5:14-15

Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. 15 And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.

– One of the scriptural meanings of the word meditate is “to murmur”, to speak the Word to yourself only. As often as you think of it today, preach it to your mind, preach it to your soul, preach it to your Spirit.  It is amazing how a scripture that doesn’t seem to apply to me that morning, suddenly touches so many areas of my life as I meditate on it during the day.

Daily Reading:   Jeremiah 23, 25, 26; Titus 3

– Each week contains only five readings, allowing you to miss a day, or catch up. You can read both the Old and New Testament assignments for each day and complete the entire Bible in one year. Or, read the New Testament readings for each day and finish the New Testament in a year.
The full schedule can be found HERE.
