Colossians 4

Psalm 107

Isaiah 64-65

  • God’s heart is to be sought and found by His people.
  • The Jews rebellion worked for our good, for the good of the goyim, the nations. So that we may be brought into a covenant relationship through Messiah.

Colossians 4

  • The mention of slaves in the scripture bothers some people. It is important to know that in Israel the “slaves” were people who were sold to pay off debts and things like that. They were freed from their debt,  and sent back home every 7 years. You can read about this is Exodus 21, and Jeremiah 24.
  • There is also the Shmitah year. Which is the seventh year of the seven-year agricultural cycle mandated by the Torah for the Land of Israel, when everything goes back to where it belongs. You can read about that in Leviticus 25.

Psalm 107

  • Meditate on God’s steadfast love, through everything!
