Isaiah 66; 2 Kings 21; 2 Chronicles 33

  • Isaiah 66:8 was fulfilled on May 14th, 1948 when Israel became a nation again in one day.
  • On 14 May 1948, the day before the expiration of the British Mandate, David Ben-Gurion, the head of the Jewish Agency, declared “the establishment of a Jewish state in Eretz-Israel, to be known as the State of Israel.”
  • 2 Kings 21 and 2 Chronicles 33 both deal with King Manasseh. The slight differences are to emphasize different points. Kings presents Manasseh as the worst of Judah’s kings and the primary reason for the exile. Chronicles uses  him to show the reality of forgiveness and restoration, even for the worst sinners. (1 Tim 1:15)

1 Timothy 1

  • The glorious mercy and grace of God to us is unmeasurable!

Psalm 62

  • Pray this psalm out loud. Worship the Lord!
