“Thy word is a lamp to my feet, and a light to my path” (Psalms 119:105).

Week Thirty-Seven – Day 3:
Study points:
-
Blessing is pronounced over the faithful house of Rechabites. Their faithfulness is shown in the words “obeyed,” “kept,” and “done.”
-
Baruch, who was a fellow scribe, helped Jeremiah and was given his life as a prize for his service to Jeremiah.
-
Nations are always judged on how they treat Israel.
-
As every day passes, we are closer and closer to His return. We are in the end of the end of days, and these things spoken of in Jude are more and more prevalent around us, and we can take heed from this letter that we must contend for the faith more than ever.
-
“Contend” in the Greek means to do battle, to fight, to not be passive. In these days, we can no longer just try to keep out of the battle with the enemy, we must be on the offensive and do damage to the enemy of our souls.
