“Thy word is a lamp to my feet, and a light to my path” (Psalms 119:105).

Week Thirty-Seven – Day 2:
Study points:
Even while Jerusalem’s plunder was being prophesied, Jeremiah was seeing ahead! He was seeing the promise of Messiah and the Messiah’s reign.
Jeremiah also prophesied very strongly against the shepherds and false prophets that did not properly teach and guide the nation.
The 70 years of captivity mentioned here is the same 70 years that Daniel found in his study of the Word to know that the captivity would soon end and judgment against Babylon would begin.
Jeremiah’s life was threatened many times. Those that do not want to repent will often attack the messenger, but he was protected and spared to continue his work for God.

Speak evil of no one.
-
The list of things to avoid is very important and worthy of study.
