Week Thirty-Three – Day 4:
Isaiah 45-48
Philippians 3
Study points:
Isaiah 45-48
-
God called a foreign, heathen king, King Cyrus, to bring about His will for His people to rebuild Jerusalem.
-
It is easy for us to see the evilness of idols as we read these scripture passages. But idols are merely something or someone we allow to be in the place of God or above/more important than God and the things of God.
Philippians 3
-
Have no faith in the flesh—not your job, not your position, not your name.
-
Forget those things that are behind, and reach toward the things that are ahead. Pressing toward the goal of the upward call of God in Christ.
-
Our citizenship is in heaven.
