  • Hebrews 4:9-11 – There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God.  For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.  Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.
  • Hebrews 4:12 –  For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
  • Hebrews 4:16 – For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

  • Pray these Psalms out loud today and be blessed.

Week Thirty-SevenDay 3:

Jeremiah 35, 36, 45, 46

Jude

divider thornsStudy points:

Jeremiah 35, 36, 45, 46

  • Blessing is pronounced over the faithful house of Rechabites.  Their faithfulness is shown in the words “obeyed,” “kept,” and “done.”
  • Baruch, who was a fellow scribe, helped Jeremiah and was given his life as a prize for his service to Jeremiah.
  • Nations are always judged on how they treat Israel.

Jude

  • As every day passes, we are closer and closer to His return. We are in the end of the end of days, and these things spoken of in Jude are more and more prevalent around us, and we can take heed from this letter that we must contend for the faith more than ever.
  • “Contend” in the Greek means to do battle, to fight, to not be passive. In these days, we can no longer just try to keep out of the battle with the enemy, we must be on the offensive and do damage to the enemy of our souls.

Week Thirty-SevenDay 2:

Jeremiah 23, 25, 26

Titus 3

divider thornsStudy points:

Jeremiah 23, 25, 26

Even while Jerusalem’s plunder was being prophesied, Jeremiah was seeing ahead! He was seeing the promise of Messiah and the Messiah’s reign.

Jeremiah also prophesied very strongly against the shepherds and false prophets that did not properly teach and guide the nation.

The 70 years of captivity mentioned here is the same 70 years that Daniel found in his study of the Word to know that the captivity would soon end and judgment against Babylon would begin.

Jeremiah’s life was threatened many times. Those that do not want to repent will often attack the messenger, but he was protected and spared to continue his work for God.

Titus 3

  • Speak evil of no one.
  • The list of things to avoid is very important and worthy of study.

Week Thirty-SevenDay 1:

Jeremiah 21-22; 2 Kings 24

Titus 2

Psalm 112

divider thornsStudy points:

Jeremiah 21-22; 2 Kings 24

  • Jeremiah’s prophecies happened exactly as he said they would.
  • Babylon destroyed the temple and carried away the temple riches to a foreign land.

Titus 2

  • The importance in our society today of women teaching other women is often ignored.  Or is thought of as some cute Bible study coffee hour. It is extremely important that women minister to other women and lift them up. NOT to have pity parties together, spending hours bashing their husbands or parents, but to be strong with each other.  We must listen to the Holy Spirit to know when and what to speak to women in our sphere of influence.
  • Throw another woman the “rope” of the word and pull her up. It is dirty work, you will get scraped-up hands and knees as you pull, and she will too as she is pulled!  But PULL them up, do not wallow! God has higher things planned!!
  • In saying how important women ministering to women is, it is equally important that we CHOOSE to not be offended when someone seems to correct us, or points us away from the problem and to the Word. Your flesh won’t like it, but your spirit will!

Psalm 112

  • The blessings of the Lord to those that love Him and obey are greater than our minds can comprehend!

Jeremiah 19-20

Titus 1

Psalm 93

divider thornsStudy points:

Jeremiah 19-20

  • The picture here that God gives through Jeremiah’s actions are showing the truth of the horrendous judgment coming. Yet the people, especially the leaders, do not repent.

Titus 1

  • The qualifications of leaders here matches up with the one in the letters to Timothy.
  • We must be careful what we listen to.

Psalm 93

  • Even creation worships the Lord!

Ephesians Prayers

One of the things the Lord has had me do this year is to learn the two prayers we often call “The Ephesian’s Prayers”. Praying them at least twice a day (morning and night) and any other time of the day that I think to do it has changed more than I could put on paper in my life, spiritually and naturally.

So I am sharing the prayers here. I personalize them, where it says you, I say me or I, etc.
You can pray these for yourself that way and for specific people as the Holy Spirit leads you.
As you pray these prayers daily you will begin to see yourself strengthened, you will gain revelation into the Word and you will walk in Wisdom that you did not know before. All of this is hinged on a huge revelation of the love of God in your life that you will receive.

And we can trust this because the Word says:
James 1:5 (NKJV) If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.

Print these out, put them in your bible or prayer journal and pray them at least twice a day for a few months or more and you will be blessed beyond measure.
I have put the prayers/scriptures here as well as examples of personalization. Feel free to use whatever version of the bible you prefer or that the Spirit leads you to use.

Prayer 1 – Ephesians 1:15-23 (NKJV)
Therefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints, do not cease to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers: that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of your understanding[a] being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come.
And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all.

Prayer 1 – Personalized example:
I pray that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give me the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of my understanding being enlightened; that I may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward me who believes, according to the working of His mighty power which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come. And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all.

Prayer 2 – Ephesians 3:14-21
For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height— to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.

Prayer 2 – Personalized example:
For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, that He would grant me, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in my inner man, that Christ may dwell in my heart through faith; that I, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height— to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that I may be filled with all the fullness of God. Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in me, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.
